Every rescue starts with the same question: what do you own, and what are you renting from someone else? Once that's clear, the rest is a sequence. Below are the five services in the order most contractors need them, with a quick test for each so you can tell whether it applies to you.
None of this involves trade work. We are not a contractor; we audit, recover and repair marketing assets, and we coach owners on running them.
-
Marketing rescue audit
A plain-language inventory of what you own, what you're paying for and what is actually working.
-
Google Business Profile recovery
Get your listing back under your own login through Google's official ownership process.
-
Account and domain recovery
Bring your domain, hosting, Google Ads, analytics and social accounts home to logins you control.
-
Website repair and rebuild
Fix the site that isn't producing calls, or rebuild it on a platform you own outright.
-
Clean-restart marketing
Relaunch SEO, ads and reviews on a foundation you own, with reporting you can check yourself.
Marketing rescue audit
Start with the audit if you can't answer, in one sentence, what each line on your marketing invoice pays for. It's a written inventory of every account, who holds the owner role, what each costs and whether it produces calls.
The quick test: list every login you'd need to change your phone number everywhere it appears online. If the list has gaps, you need the marketing rescue audit. It usually takes one to two weeks and ends with a recovery plan in priority order.
Google Business Profile recovery
Choose this if your Google listing is owned by someone else, suspended, duplicated, or showing an old phone number you can't change. For most trades the profile drives more calls than the website, so it's often the most urgent piece.
The quick test: open your profile's people-and-access settings. If your business email isn't listed as the primary owner, read the Google Business Profile recovery page. We work only through Google's official ownership and access requests.
Account and domain recovery
This covers everything else: your domain, hosting, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console, social pages and call-tracking numbers. It's the slow, careful part of a rescue, and it's where mistakes cost the most.
The quick test: look up who the registrant of your domain is with your registrar. If it isn't your business, start with account and domain recovery. The domain controls your website and often your email, so it comes first.
Website repair and rebuild
Pick this when the site is slow, broken on phones, missing service pages, or built on a platform you can't export. Sometimes a repair is enough; sometimes the honest answer is that a rebuild costs less than patching.
The quick test: on your own phone, try to call your business from your homepage in under five seconds. If you can't, see website repair and rebuild. We tell you which route is cheaper before any work starts.
Clean-restart marketing
Once you own everything, the marketing has to start producing again. A clean restart relaunches local SEO, paid search and reviews with tracking you can check yourself, so you're never again dependent on one person's dashboard.
The quick test: if you recovered everything tomorrow, would you know what to do with it? If not, the clean restart is the next step. It runs on our month-to-month plans, explained on the pricing page.
What every service has in common
Whichever services you use, three things stay the same. Accounts are created or recovered under your business's own email. We never ask for your passwords; you add us as a user and can remove us any time. And every recommendation comes in writing, with the reason behind it, so you can check our thinking before you spend anything.
How we decide what you actually need
We recommend the least work that fixes the problem. Here's the logic we use:
| Your situation | Usually needed |
|---|---|
| Everything works, but you don't trust the reports | Audit only |
| Listing or domain held by someone else | Audit, then recovery |
| You own everything, but the site produces nothing | Website repair, then restart |
| Locked out of most things and leads have stopped | All five, in order |
If you're unsure, the agency exit checklist walks you through a self-assessment, and the FAQ answers the common worries. Or call, text or email, and we'll tell you which row you're in.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to buy all five services?
No. Many owners only need the audit and one recovery step. We recommend the smallest set of work that gets your business back in control, and say so in writing.
Which service should come first?
Almost always the audit, because it shows what is actually at risk. The one exception is an emergency, such as a domain about to expire or a listing that was just suspended, which we deal with immediately.
Can I keep my current agency for some of the work?
Yes. Some owners keep an existing provider for one channel and move the rest. What matters is that the accounts sit under your business's logins, whoever runs them.
Do you fix the trade work customers complain about in reviews?
No. We are not a contractor and never do installs or repairs. We help you respond to reviews properly and build a steady flow of honest new ones.
